Getting started

Requirements

• WordPress 6.0 or newer
• PHP 7.4 or newer
• Elementor 3.5 or newer (the free plugin is enough — Elementor Pro is not required)

Install MagicKit Lite

MagicKit Lite is free. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New, search for MagicKit for Elementor, then click Install and Activate. You can also upload the zip file under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

After activation MagicKit may ask whether you want to share basic, non-sensitive usage data. This is optional: choose Allow & Continue or Skip.

Install MagicKit Pro

1. Download magickit-for-elementor-pro.zip from My account or from your purchase email.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate.
3. Enter your license key when WordPress asks for it. If the screen does not appear, click Activate License under MagicKit for Elementor Pro on the Plugins page.

MagicKit Pro is an add-on: keep MagicKit Lite installed and active.

The MagicKit dashboard

Everything lives under MagicKit in the WordPress menu:

• Dashboard – overview of your widgets and extensions.
• Elements – switch widgets on or off, one by one or per category.
• Extensions – switch extensions on or off and open the settings of site-wide extensions (gear icon).
• Style Kit – global colors, radius, shadows and animation settings.
• Integrations – API keys for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Mailchimp and reCAPTCHA.
• Tools – Usage Scanner, cache clearing and settings export/import.
• Analytics, Form Entries and White Label – added by MagicKit Pro.

Build your first page

1. Edit any page with Elementor.
2. In the widget panel, MagicKit widgets are grouped in categories that start with MagicKit · — for example MagicKit · Content Elements. You can also search for a widget by name.
3. Drag a widget onto the page and adjust it in the Content and Style tabs.
4. Extensions such as Sticky, Scroll Reveal or Display Conditions appear on every section, container and widget, in the Advanced tab under sections named MagicKit ….

Set up your Style Kit

Open MagicKit → Style Kit and enter your brand colors, card and button radius, shadow and animation speed. Every MagicKit widget uses these values by default, so one change restyles your whole site. Styles set on an individual widget always win.

Keep your site lean

Each widget loads its CSS and JavaScript only on pages that use it. To go further, open MagicKit → Tools and run the Usage Scanner: it finds widgets you never use and disables them in one click.
