Extensions

21 extensions add features to any section, container or widget — or to your whole site.

How extensions work

Switch extensions on or off in MagicKit → Extensions. Element extensions add a section to the Advanced tab of every section, container and widget; site-wide extensions have a gear icon with their settings on the Extensions screen.

All extensions

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Wrapper Link

Makes a whole section, container, column or widget clickable. Links and buttons inside keep working on their own.

Custom CSS FREE

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Custom CSS

Adds CSS to a single element. Use the keyword selector to target the element itself, for example selector:hover { transform: translateY(-4px); }.

Page Duplicator FREE

Where: Pages and Posts lists → Duplicate link

Creates a draft copy of a post, page or Elementor template, including its Elementor design. Choose the post types under MagicKit → Extensions → Duplicator (default: post, page, elementor_library).

Scroll to Top FREE

Where: Site-wide · settings in MagicKit → Extensions

A back-to-top button with a scroll progress ring. Settings: position, color, how far visitors scroll before it appears, and the progress ring.

Reading Progress Bar FREE

Where: Site-wide · settings in MagicKit → Extensions

A progress bar on single posts. Settings: top or bottom, height, color and the post types to show it on (default: post).

Display Conditions PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Display Conditions

Shows or hides any element with rules: login status, user role, device, date range, time of day, day of week, URL parameter, referrer, number of visits, new or returning visitor, UTM campaign (first touch, remembered 30 days), cookie and browser language. With WooCommerce: cart total, cart contains product and customer purchased product. Combine rules with All or Any. Conditions are not applied inside the editor — preview the page to test them.

Content Protection PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Content Protection

Locks an element behind a password, for logged-in users or for selected roles. Locked content is never sent to the browser. A correct password unlocks the element for 12 hours.

Glassmorphism PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Glassmorphism

A frosted-glass backdrop blur for cards, headers and overlays.

Animated Gradient Background PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Animated Gradient

A slowly moving background with up to four colors, an angle and the cycle duration.

Particles Background PRO

Where: Advanced tab of sections and containers → MagicKit Particles Background

Lightweight canvas particles: network, rising bubbles, snow or twinkling stars. Set the color, amount, speed and whether particles react to the mouse. Animation pauses when the section is off screen.

Custom Cursor PRO

Where: Site-wide settings in MagicKit → Extensions, plus Advanced tab → MagicKit Cursor

An animated cursor (dot + ring, dot only or blend). Turn it on for the whole site, or only over chosen elements, where you can also add a label such as “View” or “Drag”. It is disabled on touch devices.

Scroll Reveal PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Scroll Reveal

Entrance animations: fade, zoom, blur, clip, flip, split words, split characters and staggered children. Set duration, delay, stagger step and whether the animation replays every time.

Floating Effects PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Floating Effects

A looping float: move X and Y, rotate, scale, duration and delay.

3D Tilt & Mouse Parallax PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit 3D Tilt & Mouse Parallax

Three effects: 3D tilt while hovering (with optional glare), mouse parallax across the page (with invert) and magnetic pull toward the cursor. Turned off on touch devices.

Sticky Element PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Sticky

Makes any element stick to the top or bottom. Set an offset, the devices to stick on, “hide on scroll down” for headers, and a background, shadow and blur that apply only while the element is stuck.

Page Transitions PRO

Where: Site-wide · settings in MagicKit → Extensions

An animated overlay between pages: fade, curtain up, curtain left or circle, with your color and duration. Links that open a new tab, downloads, anchors, other websites and links with the class no-transition are skipped.

Smooth Scroll PRO

Where: Site-wide · settings in MagicKit → Extensions

Inertia scrolling for the mouse wheel. Set the smoothness (1–20) and whether to use it on touch devices. Scrollable boxes, keyboard and anchor links keep working normally.

Element Tooltip PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Tooltip

A tooltip on any element: text, position (top, bottom, left, right or follow cursor) and background color.

A/B Testing PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit A/B Test

See How to run an A/B test below.

Element Analytics PRO

Where: Advanced tab → MagicKit Analytics

Counts views (when half of the element is visible) and clicks on links and buttons inside it. Give it a report label and see the numbers in MagicKit → Analytics. Settings: how long data is kept (default 90 days) and whether administrators are tracked (not by default). No cookies or third-party services are used.

Social Proof Notifications PRO

Where: Site-wide · settings in MagicKit → Extensions (off by default)

Small notification popups with your own messages (one per line: message|time label) or recent WooCommerce orders, showing only first name and city. Settings: position, first popup delay, interval and mobile. Never shown on cart and checkout pages. Only show real events.

How to run an A/B test

  1. Create the versions you want to compare, for example two hero headings (duplicate the element and change the copy).
  2. On each version open Advanced → MagicKit A/B Test and enter the same Test Name, for example hero-headline.
  3. Give each version a different Variant (A, B, C or D) and a Traffic Weight.
  4. Choose the Conversion Goal: a click on a link or button inside the variant, a Magic Form submission, a product added to cart, or a click on a custom CSS selector.
  5. Publish. Every visitor sees one variant and keeps it on later visits. In the editor you see all variants with a label — that is normal.
  6. Follow the results in MagicKit → Analytics: visitors, conversions, rate, lift and confidence against variant A. Wait for about 95% confidence, then click Make … the winner. Every visitor then sees the winner; Resume test starts it again.

Animations and reduced motion

Many visitors turn off animations in Windows, macOS or on their phone. MagicKit → Style Kit → Motion → Visitors who prefer reduced motion decides what they see:

  • Soften animations (default) – counters, typing effects, marquees and fades keep working; large movement (tilt, magnetic, parallax, floating, page transitions, smooth scroll) is turned off.
  • Turn all animations off – no animation at all for these visitors.
  • Always show all animations – everyone sees every effect.
